| Tuesday 21st February saw this year’s Primary PSSA Track and Field event get underway at the Sultans School. The British School sent a full squad to compete against the other six main schools in the Muscat community and the standard this year would not allow The British School to make a clean sweep of the trophies as occurred last year. The Sultans School had the best results of the day winning most of the U9, U10 and U11 trophies, with only the U11 Girls from the British School taking home first place. Overall the British School came 3rd. The other boys and girls gave their best in some closely fought events with the majority finishing within the top three places. Overall standings throughout the age groups are as follows: U9 Girls - 5th, U9 Boys – 2nd, U10 girls – 2nd, U10 Boys – 6th, U11 Girls – 1st, U11 Boys – 2nd. A big congratulations to all those children who took part in the event and thanks to the supporting parents and to Mrs Reeves who organised The British School Athletics Squad. The British School was definitely the loudest!! |
