BSM
has a simple uniform, which changes slightly in style as the students move through
the school. We feel that the uniform encourages a sense of belonging and pride
in the students while also simplifying options for parents as providers.
We have a strict code of practice with regard to the dangers of exposure to sunlight and we rely on the support of parents in providing sun protection cream and hats to effect this policy.
All clothing and possessions in School must be clearly labelled with the student's name. Unclaimed and unmarked lost property is usually sold by the PTA.

Jewellery (other than a watch and/or one pair of stud earrings) and make-up such as nail polish MUST NOT be worn in School.
Hair
must be tidy and long hair tied back. Do not use hair gel, hair cream or mouse
which is flammable this will be a hazard during science practical lessons. Extreme
styles or colours are not permitted.
